“Henri Cartier-Bresson and Inge Morath were two of the photographers hired to be on set for the filming of The Misfits. Arthur Miller married Inge shortly after his divorce from Marilyn, though he claimed their relationship didn’t start until after filming. Inge was originally hired as an editor for the Paris-based photography collective Magnum, and said she learned photography from looking at Henri’s images long before she picked up a camera. She soon became one of the first female members of Magnum. In addition to her street photography, she photographed several Hollywood sets.”
